The Barton Family Welcomes You to the Barton Garnet Mine Tours

Last season, 2020, we were required to Shutter our Garnet Mine Tours and the Gore Mountain Mineral Shop due to Covid-19.

Now a year later, we have had to make the difficult decision to postpone our opening because of the after effects of Covid-19....... We simply have not been able to find a staff to work for our 2021 season... the many reasons for this include....some staff are needing to take educational courses over the summer, some are unvaccinated and are still concerned about the virus, some are spending the summer visiting family, and some over the last year have found other employment. Apparently we are not unique....many, many businesses have found themselves in this same situation.

I want to thank all of our wonderful customers and dedicated Rockhounds for your loyalty and the many friendships that I have with so very many of you all! Please stay tuned and stay safe. We will reopen again sometime!!!

Strike It Rich!!!
